The Olive Tree is located on top of the hill at La Misere on Mahe Island, Seychelles.

 

Located a mere 15 minutes' drive from Victoria, 25 minutes' drive away from the Seychelles International Airport, the property boasts views of the sea on one side and the lush green mountains on the other side. The building is set in a quiet and secure area of the island backed by green virgin forests, the only noise will be the chirping of the wild birds and occasional church bells on some Sundays from the small catholic chapel opposite. This area being on the mountain is mostly cooler than the coastal areas and very pleasant at night.

 

The property also has the advantage of being situated in the middle of the main island which means guests have access to different parts of the island including the north which has the busiest beach of Beau Vallon, the south and west  with beautiful quieter secluded beaches.

Shops, restaurants & bars are all within walking distance or can be reached by car or taxi.

Guests coming to The Olive Tree can take a taxi or rent a car to reach the property. Public buses can also an option as a mode of transport to move between places, the ticket are at a very affordable price of SCR7 per person per trip.
